Think on These Things

In today’s world we are bombarded with information. Our brains are overloaded with messages from family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, church members, and the media. Some messages are good, and some messages are bad. But amidst all of the clutter, God calls us to think about Him and keep our eyes fixed on the things of heaven. Think on These Things helps readers do just that-focus on the Word of God and its sure promises. Author Velma Beavon shares her thoughts on life and some of the experiences she has had on her own spiritual journey. Through stories and Bible and Spirit of Prophecy quotes, she urges readers to deepen their spiritual walk with the Lord. Think on These Things also contains a chapter dedicated to providing an overview of each book of the Bible, providing a wonderful picture of the history of the Bible and its most important messages. As Philippians 4:8 urges us to do, “think on these things.”
